Muscle Soreness. What is DOMS?
DOMS or Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness is muscle pain/stiffness resulting from micro-trauma to muscles caused by strenuous or unfamiliar exercises.
Say Hello to those sleepy muscles waking up that haven't been activated for awhile!
Getting a little bit sore is a good thing, it shows a change is occurring in your muscles. On the other hand, being so sore that you can barely walk probably means you've over done it a little. It's all about finding the right balance, fuelling your body right, and allowing the right recovery for your muscle groups to become stronger.
